Imran Hossain

Imran Hossain has extensive work experience in the aerospace industry. Imran is currently employed at CoreAVI as a Software Verification & Validation Engineer, focusing on safety critical graphics and compute drivers for avionics applications.

Before joining CoreAVI, Imran worked at Thales Canada, Transportation Solutions as a Senior System Design Specialist. Imran was responsible for system design and development, and also held the position of System Design Specialist.

Prior to Thales, Imran worked at Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation (Global) as a Sr Systems Engineer. There, they performed systems engineering activities to develop and certify avionics for the Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ) and developed system requirements for avionics surveillance systems.

Imran also gained valuable experience at Honeywell Aerospace as a Sr Systems Engineer, where they performed systems engineering activities for the Airbus A350 Electrical Heating System. Imran was responsible for decoding flight test data, identifying issues, and determining root causes.

Earlier in their career, Imran worked at Collins Aerospace as a Systems Engineer, focusing on avionics system integration for Bombardier's Global 5000 and 6000 aircraft. Imran also worked on software requirements development for Pro Line Fusion's Flight Management System.

Imran also worked at HighRely as a System Verification & Validation Engineer, where they generated and executed verification and validation tests for various avionics systems. Imran was responsible for developing verification cases and procedures.

Additionally, Imran has experience at Enea, where they performed verification and validation of Electronic Flight Instrument Systems (EFIS), and at Eclipse Aviation as a Verification & Validation Engineer, testing avionics systems for the Eclipse 500 business jet.

Imran Hossain attended the University of Toronto from 2000 to 2004, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
