Marlia Weisse is the current Director of Learning & Organizational Development at Core BTS. Marlia has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources and Learning & Development. Marlia has been with Core BTS for 2 years, and in their current role, they are responsible for designing, planning, and delivering engaging learning experiences for leaders and people managers that enable them and their teams to move the business forward.
Prior to joining Core BTS, Marlia was with Partners Health Plan for 18 years, where they held various HR roles including Director of Employee Relations, Director of Learning & Development, and Senior Manager of Organizational Development. In their time at Partners Health Plan, Marlia was responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of learning and development resources in the LMS to ensure user engagement, while validating accurate offerings, catalogs, and assignments fulfilled all relevant compliance and reporting requirements. Marlia also owned the strategy and execution of assigned company-wide employee engagement programs.
Marlia has a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from Northeastern University.
Marlia Weisse has a Doctor of Education from Aspen University in Leadership and Learning with a specialization in Organizational Psychology. Marlia also has a Master of Arts in English Literature from The University of Akron and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Law Enforcement from The University of Akron. In addition, they are certified as a Certified Diversity Professional from the Institute for Diversity.
Marlia Weisse reports to Gina Logozar, VP, Human Resources. They work with Lindsey Schmidt - Director, Human Resources, Dan Publicover - Manager, Talent Acquisition.
