Ashley Burris

Ashley Burris, CPA, currently serves as the VP and Corporate Controller at Core Specialty Insurance Holdings, Inc. since September 2023. Prior to this role, Ashley was the Assistant Corporate Controller at USI Insurance Services from June 2022 to September 2023 and held the position of VP of Accounting & Financial Reporting at Protective Insurance from October 2017 to June 2022, overseeing significant accounting functions including SEC and Statutory reporting. Earlier experience includes roles at Allegion, PLC, where responsibilities entailed global financial data consolidation and SEC filings, along with accounting management positions at Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies and EDCI Holdings, Inc. Ashley commenced a career in auditing as a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Evansville in 2004.
