Katherine Vacura Alvin

Katherine Vacura Alvin has extensive work experience in the actuarial field. Katherine is currently serving as the VP & Pricing Actuary at Core Specialty Insurance Holdings, Inc. since December 2020. Prior to this role, they worked at StarStone Insurance as the AVP & US Pricing Actuary from July 2017 to December 2020.

Before joining StarStone Insurance, Katherine had a long tenure at CNA Insurance. Katherine Vacura Alvin, FCAS obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the years 2003 to 2007.
