Roberto De Sousa

Roberto De Sousa has worked in the software development industry since 2001. Roberto began their career with Altran as a System Developer, where they designed a process to catch fraud committed by employees, preventing the client's loss of revenue. In 2006, they joined Choice Technologies Holding Sàrl as an Application Developer, improving clients' financial processes through the deployment of algorithms for optimization of the trade process on buying and selling energy and the identification of frauds. This resulted in clients experiencing revenue increased up to 5% in the first year and recovered over US$ 500,000 (five hundred thousand dollars). In 2008, they moved to MJV Technology & Innovation Brazil as a Data Warehouse Specialist, rebuilding the data warehouse of insurance products. Roberto was in contact with clients and directly involved with the design of the database, ETL processes, reports, unit tests, and interfaces, resulting in the client's sales increasing by 13% and cost of processes being reduced by 8%. In 2012, they co-founded BeSmart Solutions, offering creative web solutions for small businesses. Finally, in 2018, they joined Core10 as a Software Developer, providing a full suite of fintech development services and support resources.

Roberto De Sousa obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Centro Universitário da Cidade between 2006 and 2010. Roberto then went on to receive a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp in Computer Software Engineering between 2012 and 2014.
