Kayla Welch

Kayla Welch has over two decades of experience in the broadcasting and media industry, currently serving as a Copy Specialist at Corebridge Financial since February 2014. Previously, Welch held the position of Assistant Managing Editor at Tribune Broadcasting from October 2012 to February 2014, and Executive Producer at Barrington Broadcasting/KVII-TV from January 2006 to September 2012, where responsibilities included establishing news standards and producing four daily news broadcasts. Earlier experience includes roles as Producer/Associate Producer at New Vision Media/KVII-TV and Director/Technical Director at KAMR-TV, where Welch managed visual production and contributed to high-rated news programming. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Speech Communication and a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication/Broadcasting, both obtained from West Texas A&M University.
