Governance/OPS Model at CoreLogic Australia

Cherie Day is currently working as a Governance/OPS Model at CoreLogic. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Steward at The NRMA from July 2017 to September 2021. In this role, they were responsible for recommending and documenting data usage, procedures, policies, standards, metrics and rules. Cherie was also responsible for understanding and documenting the end-to-end data flows/transformations within the data domain and identifying data dependencies in support of delivery, release and change management.

At The NRMA, Cherie also implemented controls to ensure that data processes and lineage adhere to NRMA policies. Cherie identified and prioritised issues, conducted root cause and impact assessments and implemented agreed resolutions. Cherie also escalated data related issues, risks and breaches (both suspected and actual) to management in a timely manner and supported stakeholders with remediation activities.

In addition, Cherie was responsible for the development, maintenance and alignment of the enterprise data dictionary and business glossary to data assets and landscape of their domain. Cherie was also accountable for the quality and alignment to requirements for all data query design and development in order to support efficient data profiling and analysis.

Cherie has a proven track record in data management and is always looking for ways to improve processes. Cherie is an innovative thinker who is able to identify opportunities for improvement and implement change effectively.

Cherie Day reports to James Vaughan, Business Owner Data & Solutions. Some individuals on their team include GOV3 - Consultant, GOV1 - Meta Data Specialist, and GOV4 - DEV OPS Engineer.
