Abdullah Bacus

Abdullah Bacus has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Abdullah started their career as a Business Support Analyst at UTi Integrated Logistics in 2004 and later became a Regional IT Manager responsible for providing IT support and solution implementation for 17 branches and agents.

Abdullah then took on the role of Solutions Manager - Distribution before becoming an Application Service Delivery Manager, where they successfully managed a team to reduce incident tickets associated with custom in-house software by 80%.

In 2011, Abdullah became a Manager - EIT at UTi Integrated Logistics, where they were responsible for various tasks, including managing GCC yearly audits and setting up the CL&D Americas Project Management Office Portal and process.

From 2012 to 2013, they served as the Manager Transportation System - CL&D Business IT, where they managed three distributed development and support teams and successfully deployed a client web portal tool, enhancing client satisfaction and reducing client requests.

Abdullah later became the IT Manager at UTi Integrated Logistics, managing a $7 million annual revenue client account and serving as a subject matter expert for project management and warehouse management system integration.

In 2015, Abdullah moved on to RGP, where they took on the role of IT Consultant - Project Manager. Here, they successfully managed and implemented infrastructure-related projects for a well-known American direct broadcast satellite service provider and broadcaster.

Abdullah's most recent work experience is as a Principal Program Manager at CoreLogic since 2018.

Abdullah Bacus completed their high school education at Isipingo Hills Secondary School from 1996 to 1999, earning a High School Diploma with a focus on Mathematics, Computer Studies, Biology, Physical Science, English, and Afrikaans. Abdullah then pursued higher education at the University of KwaZulu-Natal from 2001 to 2003, obtaining a B-Com degree in Business Information Systems. In 2021, Abdullah Bacus obtained a certification titled "What Is Disciplined Agile?" from LinkedIn.
