Bishop Ostteen

Bishop Ostteen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Bishop most recently held the position of Associate Vice President of Software Engineering at CoreLogic since October 2021. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director of Product Delivery at Next Gear Solutions from September 2019 to October 2021. Bishop also held various roles at Accurence, including Director of Software Operations from November 2018 to September 2019, Director of Quality Engineering from May 2017 to October 2018, and Quality Engineering Manager from May 2012 to May 2017. Before that, they worked at Webroot Software as a Quality Engineer from June 2009 to June 2012, a Threat Research Analyst from August 2008 to June 2009, and an Advanced Malware Removal Analyst from November 2006 to August 2008. Bishop began their career at Softdisk as a Junior Systems Administrator/Software Tester from January 2000 to January 2003. In the future, they will be joining the Georgia Institute of Technology as an Instructional Associate starting in January 2023.

Bishop Ostteen completed a Bachelor of Criminal Justice degree in Criminal Justice from LSU Shreveport, from 1998 to 2005. Bishop later pursued a Master's degree in Cybersecurity at the Georgia Institute of Technology, from 2020 to 2023. Additionally, they obtained additional certifications including Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in 2015 and CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA in 2008.
