Veda Samhitha Duppalli has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. In 2011, they were an Intern at IGCAR, where they developed a characteristic impedance meter. From 2012-2013, they were an Intern at Simulator Development Division and Cosmic Circuits. In 2013, they began their graduate studies at Purdue University, where they were a Graduate Student with a research focus on developing design methodology for high-frequency transformer using multi-objective optimization. In 2016, they were an Electrical Engineering Intern at Halliburton. From 2018-2022, they worked at Cummins Inc. as a Technical Specialist and Power Electronics Engineer. Currently, they are a Principal Design Engineer at CorePower Magnetics.

Veda Samhitha Duppalli obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani in 2013. Veda Samhitha then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, they have obtained two certificates from IEEE Educational Activities Certificates, one for Current Sharing Technologies for LLC Resonant Converters and the other for Modular Multilevel Converter (MMC) for Traction Applications.
