Lim Kean Boon

Lim Kean Boon worked as a Motherboard Design Engineer at OnLogic from August 2019 to the present. In this role, they developed hardware, including circuit schematic design and PCB layout, for reliable Intel x86 and ARM based products for industrial applications. Lim possesses digital design skills and knowledge of high-speed interfaces and buses such as Thunderbolt3/4, DDR4/5 Memory, DisplayPort, HDMI, M. 2, PCIe, USB, RGMII, SGMII, and general high-speed differential clocks.

Prior to working at OnLogic, Lim Kean Boon served as an Industrial Trainee at Sesung Co.,Ltd from June 2018 to September 2018.

Lim Kean Boon pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electronic (Computer) Engineering from Universiti Malaysia Sabah between 2015 and 2019. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2014, Kean Boon attended SM Institut Bukit Mertajam, where they completed their STPM (Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia) with a focus on Physics, Information and Communications Technology, Mathematics T, and Pengajian Am.
