Jean Garret

Jean Garret has been working as a Backend Software Engineer at Coresystems AG since 2022. Prior to that, from 2021 to 2022, Jean worked as a Software Engineer at Oxford Nanopore Technologies, where they co-created an internal search API, participated in the migration to a microservice-based infrastructure, and maintained a content recommendation API. From 2019 to 2021, Jean worked as a Software Engineer at Billmonitor, where they co-created a new user-facing platform, developed a JSON API interface for internal microservices, and created web crawlers and PDF parsers.

Jean Garret completed a Bachelor's degree in Physics from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2012 to 2016. In 2015, Jean also attended Imperial College London for an exchange year, where they focused on studying Physics. They later pursued a Master's degree in Statistics from ETH Zürich from 2016 to 2018.
