Jimmie Kelley has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jimmie started their career in 2003 as a Sales Manager at Sprint and worked there until 2008. From 2010 to 2022, they were self-employed and provided Information Technology (IT) services as an IT Field Technician, specializing in installation, break/fix technical services, project management, and incident mitigation.

In 2013, Jimmie worked as a Technician for Peak Systems, Inc., contributing to a Dell Windows 7 Migration Project. Jimmie also served as a Field Service Technician at Geeks On Site, providing computer installation, repair, and training services in customers' homes or businesses. Additionally, they worked as a Field Engineer at FieldSolutions, providing various technical services for computer hardware and software.

In 2015, Jimmie founded JTech Solutions, where they served as the Owner. JTech Solutions aimed to provide quality products with personal service, offering on-site desk-side services for Microsoft Windows XP, 7, and 8.

Prior to that, Jimmie completed their high school education at Franklin High School, earning a degree in General Studies. They then went on to attend the University of Maryland Baltimore County to study Business Administration and Management, although the specific years of attendance are unknown.

In addition to their formal education, Jimmie Kelley obtained several certifications. In 2018, they obtained certifications from Lynda.com in subjects such as Windows Server 2012 installation and configuration, installing Windows 8 in VMware Workstation, Windows 10 administration, CompTIA A+ (220-901) networking, CCNP Routing (300-101) network principles, IT security key policies and resources, electronics foundations fundamentals, learning Cisco CLI switch configuration, and learning Cisco CLI router configuration. Jimmie also obtained the Cisco Certified Technician Routing & Switching certification from Cisco, although the specific timeframe is unknown.
