About the Role:

CoreWeave is searching for a Director, Data Center Finance. This role will lead all financial planning and support of CoreWeave global DC infrastructure and build out the finance team necessary to this scope.

  • Collaborate with the SVP and head of finance to lead and scale all DC finance analysis, planning and support
  • Create the business case and ensure optimal use of capital for all global data center and region expansion
  • Lead the solution and process for long-term power planning
  • Support all planning for DC operations globally including owning the annual data center infrastructure and operations budget
  • Be the finance owner for all DC infrastructure and power forecasting and planning
  • Coordinate closely with Engineering and DC Operations teams to track, report, and forecast infrastructure-related KPIs
  • Forecast and drive improvements on all DC-related costs
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on financial results, budget variance analysis, scenario analysis, stress tests, and KPI results, communicating the analyses to key stakeholders like executive leadership, board members, and other CoreWeave departments
  • Collaborate with Head of FP&A, DC SVP, CFO and CSO to assist with highly impactful, complex, and visible projects, including large scale capital markets and fundraising initiatives 
  • Support Accounting team on improvement of accounting and reporting processes

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in general finance or FP&A
  • 5+ years experience with cloud data center infrastructure and operations
  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, applied mathematics, economics, or other business major is required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, often with shifting priorities.
  • Data-driven approach with a strong analytical tool kit and the ability to connect problematic dots and form holistic, scalable solutions
  • Proactive, anticipates and avoids/mitigates problems before they arise
  • Strong written & verbal communication, organizational, and leadership skills 
  • Leadership/mentorship mentality that inspires a strong attention to detail among direct reports
  • Embraces positivity and finds ways to move through challenging adversity stronger and wiser 
  • Ability to work from home with a reliable internet connection and distraction-free environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $190,000-$235,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Hybrid Workplace

Successful candidates will be expected to attend onboarding training at our NJ Headquarters within their first several weeks of employment, with subsequent quarterly travel requirements of 1 week duration.
