Mark Geary

Mark Geary is the Senior Director of Communications at Beaumont Health. Mark has over fifteen years of experience in news reporting and has won numerous awards for their work, including the National Sigma Delta Chi Award and two Emmy awards.

Geary began their career in news reporting as a News Reporter for KOMU 8 & Mid-Missouri CW in 2001. Mark then moved to WNEM TV5- MY5 Meredith Corp as a General Assignment Freelance Reporter in 2004. In 2005, they joined KCRG TV 9 as a General Assignment Multiplatform/Multimedia Reporter & Political Reporter. Mark was with KCRG TV 9 until 2011, when they joined WFMY News 2 as a General Assignment Multiplatform/Multimedia Reporter. Mark remained with WFMY News 2 until 2014. Geary then took on their current role as Senior Director of Communications at Beaumont Health.

Mark Geary attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, where they earned a Bachelor of Journalism and a Master of Arts in Journalism.
