Sanford Vieder

Sanford Vieder has extensive experience in emergency medicine and healthcare leadership, currently serving as Medical Director at Beaumont Health and Chairman of Emergency Medicine at Beaumont Hospital since February 2008. Vieder has been an Emergency Medicine Physician with Farmington Emergency Medicine Associates since July 1992 and previously held the role of Medical Director and Owner at Lakes Urgent Care, overseeing 28,000 annual patient visits until the business was sold in December 2021. Vieder also directed the Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Beaumont Health from January 2004 to July 2007. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutritional Sciences from Michigan State University College of Natural Science. Vieder is board certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Emergency Medicine (ABOEM).
