Cornelia Zapp is a Postdoctoral Scientist at Coriolis Pharma, specializing in formulation research and development of (bio)pharmaceutical drugs and vaccines since October 2021. Previously, Zapp completed a PhD focused on the natural presentation of glycosaminoglycans in tunable cell-instructive microenvironments at the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research from October 2017 to September 2021. Additionally, Zapp conducted a Masterarbeit exploring the effects of hyaluronic acid on integrin-mediated cell adhesion at the same institute from September 2016 to June 2017, and served as a Research Intern at the University of Copenhagen, where the setup of a microreactor for phase I drug metabolism studies was accomplished in early 2016. Zapp holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biotechnology, earned at Heidelberg University from 2014 to 2017 and 2011 to 2014, respectively.
