Dr Mary Galvin

Dr. Mary Galvin currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences and Head of the Department & Senior Lecturer of Applied Social Studies at Munster Technological University since December 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Professor and Head of Department in Design Innovation at Maynooth University, a Research Fellow and Project Manager for the ProAct H2020 Project at Trinity College Dublin, and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University College Dublin. Dr. Galvin's earlier experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at Trinity College Dublin and an Assistant Lecturer at University College Cork. Dr. Galvin holds a Ph.D. in Psychology (Digital Arts & Humanities) and a Higher Diploma in Applied Psychology from University College Cork, along with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing & Languages from Waterford Institute of Technology.
