David Joseph has held a variety of roles in the technology and finance sectors since 2005. David began their career at Audible, Inc. as Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Communications, where they helped transform the company into a data-driven organization with consistent double-digit subscriber growth. David then moved on to Morgan Stanley, where they held the positions of Executive Director and Vice President of Equity Research for the Internet & Interactive Entertainment sector. In 2009, David co-founded Zebek and served as President. In 2011, they joined Houghton Mifflin Harcourt as Senior Vice President of Global Strategic Alliances, where they led global alliances and M&A. In 2013, they founded Hatch Group, LLC and made investments and acquisitions, such as Tag Sensors AS, EdGems LLC, Waggle (which was later acquired by HMH), and OptiQly (which was acquired by Ingram Industries). In 2018, David joined AVENU Learning as Chief Financial Officer and Board Secretary, and was engaged by Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) to help create, launch, and lead a new company that partners with western universities to deliver online educational programs to students in non-domestic markets. David also joined Waggle Practice as Investor, Board Member, and Acting Chief Financial Officer, and the company was acquired by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in January 2019. Currently, David is the Chief Financial Officer of Cornelis Networks, a position they have held since 2023.

David Joseph has a BA in Political Science and Government from New York University and a Masters in International Finance and Business from Columbia | SIPA. David has also obtained certifications from the ASU GSV Summit, including the ASU GSV Virtual Summit 2020, ASU GSV Virtual Summit 2020, and ASU GSV Virtual Summit 2020 - Innovation Certificate in October 2020, as well as The 2018 ASU + GSV Summit in April 2018.
