Teddy Allison has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. In 1985, they started their career at IBM Global Services as a Systems Support professional until 1998. Following that, they joined Fannie Mae in 1998 and held various managerial positions, including Manager - Systems Engineering, Manager - Storage Engineering, Manager - Backup and Recovery Engineering, Principal Technologist, and Senior Engineer. During their time at Fannie Mae, Teddy managed cross-functional teams and was responsible for a range of tasks, including High Performance Compute, Storage, Backup/Recovery, and strategic technology planning. In 2017, Teddy joined GEICO as a Manager in Engineering - Telecommunications, where they led both domestic and international teams of engineers, overseeing a country-wide telecom platform with over 40,000 users. Currently, Teddy works as a Manager of Systems Engineering at Cornelis Networks.

Teddy Allison has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University. In addition to their college education, Teddy has obtained two certifications. In January 2012, they obtained the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PEOPLECERT. Moreover, in August 2022, Teddy obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft.
