Anubhav Nanavaty

Anubhav Nanavaty currently serves as the HC Wang Assistant Professor in Mathematics at Cornell University since August 2025. Prior to this role, Anubhav was a PhD student in Mathematics at the University of California, Irvine from June 2020 to May 2025. Anubhav founded and served as President of the University of Chicago Applied Mathematics Club (UCAMC) from September 2018 to June 2020, creating a platform for students to explore applications of mathematics across various fields. Previous academic experiences include participation in research programs at the University of Chicago, focusing on equivariant obstruction theory and differential geometry. Anubhav's early professional experiences include internships with TMNA Services, LLC, Prima Capital Advisors, and Ceros, where responsibilities ranged from programming legal document management systems to market analysis and digital marketing. Anubhav holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Chicago, completed in 2020, and a high school education from Edgemont High School, concluded in 2015.
