Curt Gooch

Curt Gooch is an established professional in the field of dairy sustainability, currently serving as the Sustainable Dairy Product Owner at Truterra, LLC, where responsibilities include leading the development of LCA compliant Dairy Sustainability Products and conducting GHG emissions quantifications. Curt holds the title of Senior Extension Associate Emeritus at Cornell University, where a notable achievement includes the conception and development of the PRO-DAIRY Dairy Environmental System program over 23 years. As a consulting system solutions engineer since 1996, Curt has provided expertise in dairy farm system analysis and manure treatment equipment. Previous roles include Vice President for Sustainability Measurement at Dairy Management Incorporated, Senior Extension Associate (Dairy Sustainability Engineer) at Cornell University, and Project Engineer at the University of Maryland College Park. Curt began a career in the dairy industry earlier as a dairy farm employee. Education includes a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Biological Resources Engineering and Agricultural Engineering, respectively, from the University of Maryland.
