Kaylyn Kirkpatrick is a Visiting Lecturer at Cornell University, where Kaylyn created and teaches an online certificate program in Craft Brewing, focusing on brewing ingredients and processes. As a Brewing Extension Associate, Kaylyn directed extension operations related to beer and fermented beverages, collaborated with industry and academic experts, and provided education and quality testing services. Previously, Kaylyn held various roles at the Brewers Association, including Director of Education and Technical Brewing Projects Manager. Kaylyn co-founded Intea Kombucha, winning the Next Great Startup Award, and worked as a Quality Assurance Chemist at New Belgium Brewing. Kaylyn holds a Master of Science in Food Science and Technology from Oregon State University, along with a B.S. in Biochemistry from Colorado State University.
