Kendra Hutchins

Kendra Hutchins currently serves as the Assistant Director of Advising and Biology Learning Communities Coordinator at Cornell University, providing academic, personal, and career development support to students in the biological sciences. Hutchins has extensive experience in program management, demonstrated by orchestrating the Cornell Annual Trials Program and successfully relocating it to the Cornell Botanic Gardens. Prior roles include positions as a Technician and Annual Trials Program Coordinator, as well as a Greenhouse Grower, showcasing a strong foundation in plant sciences and communication. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Laboratory Technician and Laboratory Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and project editing for National Evaluation Systems. Kendra Hutchins holds a Master’s degree in Plant Breeding and Genetics from Cornell University and two Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, one in Plant, Soil, and Insect Sciences and another in English Language and Literature.
