George Devendorf

George Devendorf is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within humanitarian organizations and social services. Currently serving as the Senior Director of External Relations at Church World Service, George focuses on empowering communities and advancing pro-migrant policies. In addition to this role, George has been the Chair and Senior Advisor for the Cornerstone OnDemand Foundation since 2012, contributing to initiatives aimed at enhancing disaster preparedness for humanitarians. Previous positions include Senior Advisor at HR&A Advisors, Executive Director at Transition Projects, and various leadership roles at Mercy Corps, where George led global disaster response efforts and developed public engagement strategies. George holds a Master of International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins SAIS, a Fellow designation from MIT's Seminar XXI, and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Georgetown University.
