Christopher East is a seasoned safeguarding professional with extensive experience in various educational and support roles. Currently, Christopher serves as the Co-Founder of Cornerstone Safeguarding Consultancy, providing 1:1 support and training services focused on safeguarding practices. Previously, Christopher held multiple positions at the Academy of Contemporary Music, including Designated Safeguarding Officer and Safeguarding & Pastoral Services Manager, where responsibilities included managing safeguarding concerns, developing training programs, and leading a dedicated team across multiple campuses. Additional experience includes Co-Chairing the Independent Higher Education Student Services Network and contributing to various safeguarding initiatives at Christ's College Guildford and other institutions. Christopher's diverse background also encompasses self-employed work in the entertainment industry, care coordination in a school setting, and contributions to health programs for cancer patients.
