Joan MacKinnon

Joan MacKinnon, CMP, currently serves as the Director of Global Marketing Events at Cornerstone OnDemand since July 2021, previously holding the position of Associate Director, Event Marketing. Prior experience includes roles at Saba Software as the Sr. Manager of Corporate & Marketing Events from May 2017 to June 2020, and at Halogen Software as Manager of Corporate & Marketing Events and Sr. Events Planner from March 2010 to May 2017. Joan's career began at Kinaxis as Marketing Programs Manager from January 2005 to March 2010, followed by roles in marketing at CML Emergency Services, OZ Optics, and Rebel.com. Educational qualifications include a Human Capital Strategist degree from the Human Capital Institute, Certified Meeting Professional credentials from the Convention Industry Council, and a Nursing Diploma from St. Lawrence College.
