Yannick Bafanga

yannick bafanga is a Design Engineer at Corning Incorporated since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an IA Engineer at NORCE Norwegian Research Centre in June-August 2019, where they developed an algorithm for detecting singular shapes for automating maintenance of an oil platform with a defect detection rate of 75%. They also worked as an Apprentice R&D Engineer at CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique from September 2018 - October 2021, where they developed a laboratory furnace for thermal characterization of semiconductor materials. During their internship as an Engineer Assistant, they also worked on the same project with successful results.
