Varun Gunnala has held a variety of roles in the marketing field. In 2022, they began working as a Database Marketing Manager at Coro. From 2020 to present, they have been a Global Demand PM at Juniper Networks, where they are in charge of Go to Market execution for Zero Trust Security and Datacenter products. Varun is also responsible for yearly Global Demand and campaign planning, as well as partnering with internal and external stakeholders to execute campaign launches and forecast future KPI metrics. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at TCI Marketing Services as a Senior Marketing Program Manager and a Marketing Program Manager. In their roles, they analyzed and evaluated marketing strategies to determine current and future campaign performance, budgeted and monitored campaigns to achieve peak performance, and implemented client specific KPI's to deliver successful campaigns. Varun also built reports and dashboards in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Excel to provide visibility into marketing campaign results and measure campaign effectiveness. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Campaign Manager at TechTarget, where they coordinated the receipt of online creative materials from Agencies and/or Advertisers to ensure creative deadlines were met for Online lead generation programs. Varun also provided Campaign Support from launch to the end of campaigns, communicated daily with the Sales, Client Consulting and Product Management, and Trafficking and Senior Management with regard to campaign status, performance, and execution. Lastly, from 2014 to 2016, they were a Marketing Coordinator at the San Francisco Giants, where they were responsible for using Demand Generation and Marketing Automation for quarterly campaigns, helped plan events with Kaiser Permanente, and worked mostly with sponsorships to help organize charity events and company events.
Varun Gunnala obtained a Digital Marketing Certificate from UC Berkeley Extension in 2020. Varun also obtained two certifications from Google in 2020: a Google Display Certification in April and a Google Ads Search Certification in March. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Arizona State University from 2009 to 2014.
