Markus Hornsteiner

Markus Hornsteiner serves as the Co-Founder and CEO of complioty since January 2024 and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Regensburg, focusing on security in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and business process management. Markus also fulfills the role of Team Lead for Web Development and IT at Corominas Consulting GmbH, where responsibilities include establishing and managing the web development team and designing scalable architecture. Additional experience includes serving as Chief Information Officer at craftguide, a VR and AR startup, and co-founding the biotech startup Phenyte UG. Previous roles span working as a research assistant in business information systems, an IT specialist trainee, and a working student in product management, complemented by extensive education in business informatics from the University of Regensburg.
