Evan Slavitt

Evan Slavitt currently serves as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at the Corporation for Public Broadcasting since February 2024. With extensive experience in legal affairs, Evan has been a Commercial, Environmental and Appellate Panel Member at the American Arbitration Association since January 2012 and a Litigation Committee Member for the Association of Corporate Counsel since 2007, coordinating advocacy projects and preparing programs. Previous roles include Global Chief Legal Officer at Paper Excellence, Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at AVX Corporation, and Partner at both Bodoff & Slavitt LLP and Gadsby Hannah LLP, focusing on complex litigation involving environmental and corporate disputes. Evan's legal expertise was further demonstrated as General Counsel for the Massachusetts Republican Party from 1994 to 2006. Educational credentials include a JD from Harvard Law School and dual Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Economics from Yale University.
