Deborah Doherty

Deborah Doherty has an extensive background in both public service and sales. Currently serving as a Councillor for the Corporation of the Town of Collingwood since December 2014, Deborah previously held the same role from 1996 to 2000. Between these positions, Deborah worked as an Advertising Sales Representative at Corus Radio Barrie from 2001 to 2019, representing several stations. Prior to that, Deborah was the owner and founder of Duncan's Gourmet to Go from 1988 to 1998. Deborah's early career included roles as a Senior Product Manager at ED Smith and Sons Limited and as an Account Executive at Leo Burnett. Deborah holds a Specialized Honours BA in Psychology from the University of Guelph, with studies at York University from 1979 to 1981.
