Alen Kirinčić

Alen Kirinčić has worked in various roles in the electrical engineering industry since 2012. In 2012, they worked as IT support at the Ministry of Finance, Tax Department. In 2013, they worked as a Seaman at AQUARIUS AQUAVISION and as an Electrical Cadet at Swire Shipping. In 2014, they worked as a Reefer Engineer/Electro-Technical Officer (HV AP) at CMA CGM. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as an Electrical Engineer (HV AP) at Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., an Electro-Technical Officer (HV AP) - Motor Yacht 125m at Al Seer Marine, and a Wind Turbine Electrical Technician / Electrical Supervisor at CMD Electrical Ireland Ltd. Since 2020, they have been working as an Electrical Installation Manager (HV SAP/Client Rep) and a HV/LV Electrical Integration And Test Engineer (HV SAP) at CorPower Ocean. In these roles, they have been responsible for overseeing and executing electrical integration and testing, installation, inspection, repairs, commissioning, testing and maintenance of all low to high voltage utility systems, equipment, transformers, switchgear, generators, inverters, powertrain, UPS and distribution systems, and acting as a Site Manager and Senior Authorised Person.

Alen Kirinčić has a diverse educational background. Alen obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Maritime Electronics and Information Technology from the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Maritime Studies between 2010 and 2013. Alen also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Maritime Electronics and Information Technology from the same institution between 2006 and 2009. Prior to that, they obtained an Electrical Technician degree from the Electro-Technical High School between 2002 and 2006. Additionally, they hold a number of certifications, including a High Voltage Authorised Person from Maersk Training obtained in July 2022, Advanced Fire-Fighting from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure, Avanti Lift User Training from Siemens Gamesa, Basic Safety Training from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure, Electro-Technical Officer STCW A-III/6, GWO BST and GWO BTT from Global Wind Organisation, Goracon Lift User Training from Siemens Gamesa, High Voltage Training, Installation of Medium Voltage accessories for XLPE cables up to 36kV from NKT, Power Climber Lift User Training from Siemens Gamesa, and SGTT - Cable Training from Siemens Gamesa.
