Pierre Lourdais began their professional experience in 2010 as a Doublure Chef de Section with the 126 Régiment d'Infanterie in the French Army. In 2012, they worked as a Stage R&D with Corsicasole, where they conceived three solar farms (40MW) as project manager. In 2013, Pierre worked as a Teaching Assistant at EPFL, and also as a Research Internship on Enhanced Geothermal System (EGS) at UC Berkeley. In 2014, they were a Research and Development Intern at Fluid Automation Systems. Most recently, from 2015 onward, Pierre has been a Lead System Engineer and Development Engineer at CorPower Ocean, working on development of a prototype for wave energy conversion, and a Master Thesis Project.
Pierre Lourdais completed their education history with an Engineer's degree from École Polytechnique in 2015, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) between 2013 and 2015, Classes préparatoires - PC* from Lycée Georges Clémenceau (Nantes) between 2007 and 2010, and Folkuniversitet.
