Yashas Prakash

Systems Engineer, RAN at JMA Wireless

Yashas Prakash has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Yashas started their career as an Engineering Intern at SM Electronic Technologies Pvt Ltd. in 2010. Yashas then worked as a Network Engineering Intern at Ericsson in 2013, where they were involved in zonal analysis, RF design, and RFDS preparation. Yashas then joined Samsung Telecommunications America as a RAN Commissioning Engineer from 2014 to 2016.

In 2016, Yashas joined AT&T as an LTE Network Test Engineer, responsible for executing and evaluating LTE, UMTS, GSM/GPRS, and VoLTE call flows. Yashas also conducted packet core network analysis using tools like Wireshark and Viavi JDSU. From 2017 to 2018, they worked at GTA (Global Technology Associates) as a Member of Technical Staff, specializing in Sprint Network Function Virtualization, E2E testing of IMS and EPC core, and E2E validation of services of CIoT core.

Yashas then joined Boingo Wireless as a Senior LTE Network Engineer from 2018 to 2021, bringing their expertise in LTE networks to the company. Currently, they are working as a Systems Engineer, RAN at JMA Wireless since 2021. Overall, Yashas Prakash has shown continuous growth and expertise in the field of telecommunications throughout their career.

Yashas Prakash completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, starting in 2011 and graduating in 2013. Prior to that, Yashas Prakash earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, which was a four-year program spanning from 2006 to 2010. In addition to these academic qualifications, Yashas Prakash obtained a certification in CPI - Certified Professional Installer for CBSD (LTE eNBs) in CBRS band from CommScope in May 2020.
