Marine Operations Engineer at CorPower Ocean

Simone Da Costa Teixeira has worked in a variety of roles since 2016. In 2021, they started as a Marine Operations Engineer at CorPower Ocean. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Saipem as an Assistant Offshore Construction Manager, leading and managing site construction activities with a group of construction crew. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Edifícios Saudáveis Consultores as a Mechanical Engineer, where they consulted and evaluated projects with CAD program and conducted technical analysis of architecture, electrical and HVAC systems. Additionally, they completed an internship at Edifícios Saudáveis Consultores in the energy department, where they evaluated the impact of energy simulation in a office building. Her master's thesis was titled "Energy Performance in the LEED System Context (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)".

Simone Da Costa Teixeira has an extensive education history. Simone obtained their MSc in Mechanical Engineering - Fluids and Heat Division from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto between 2010 and 2016. Simone also participated in an INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY program at the University of Macau in 2016. Additionally, they completed an ERASMUS Program at the School of Pedagogical and Technological Education from 2012 to 2013.
