Melissa Parkin

Melissa Parkin has extensive work experience in content development and management roles. Melissa is currently working as the Sr. Director of Content Development at Correlation One. Prior to that, they held various roles at Cengage, including Director of Technical Content Development, Director of Content Creation, Senior Learning Design Manager, and Senior Digital Content Lead. Melissa also worked as a Digital Assessment Content Manager at the National Center for Accessible Media at WGBH. Earlier in their career, they held positions at Pearson Education and Houghton Mifflin, where they served as a Senior Development Editor, Associate Editor, Assistant Editor, Editorial Associate, and Editorial Assistant.

Melissa Parkin completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1996 to 2000. Melissa also obtained additional certifications in Instructional Design and Technology: Learning Theories from edX in 2017 and a Yoga Instructor Certification - Level I from YogaWorks, Inc.
