Almas Jaffer has held a variety of roles in the past two decades, beginning with an Executive Assistant role at PMC Sierra (formerly EPD) in 2000. Almas then moved to VenGrowth in 2001 and held the same role before joining Potentia Semiconductor in 2003. In 2005, they became Office Manager & Executive Assistant at TrueContext, followed by an Executive Assistant - Marketing role at Nakina Systems in 2006. In 2007, they took on the role of Office Manager and Marketing at DISTIL Interactive, before becoming an Executive Assistant at Plasco Energy Group in 2008. Almas then held an Executive Assistant role at Chipworks Inc. from 2009 to 2014, before becoming an Executive Assistant at RealDecoy in 2014. In 2015, they began their current role as Director, Administration & Operations at Corsa Technology.

Almas Jaffer attended Ryerson University from 1985 to 1987, studying Legal Administration. Almas then attended Seneca College from 1987 to 1989, studying Accounting. Additionally, they obtained a Mental Health First Aid certification from the Mental Health Commission of Canada in January 2016, and has a certification in Conflict Resolution.
