Astraea Leary

Astraea Leary has worked in the tech and creative industry since 2014. Astraea began their career as the Owner and Lead Designer/Artist at Visual Lies LLC, where they were responsible for designing, developing, building, and animating sculptures using projection mapping. Astraea was also involved in new media technologies, creative technology, and virtual reality. In 2016, they worked as an Automation Cell Technician at Arconic, where they were involved in making low pressure turbine blades through investment casting and assisted in automation programming using Wonderware and PLC. In 2017, they joined Corso Systems as a Sales Engineer and later became a Senior Systems Engineer.

Astraea Leary obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from Old Dominion University between 2008 and 2012. Astraea has also obtained various certifications from different institutions, including Sepasoft, Inc., Inductive Automation, Udemy, FANUC America Corporation, and Yaskawa Motoman. These certifications include OEE/Downtime 2.0 Certified, Recipe Certified, SPC Certified, Track and Trace Certified, Ignition Gold Certified 8.0, Ignition Database and Scripting, The Complete SQL Bootcamp, Ignition Gold Certified 7.9, Fanuc Paint Robot, Fanuc PaintPRO, Fanuc Preventative Maintenance, and DX100 Accelerated Programming.
