James Holden

James Holden has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several decades. James started their career in the US Navy as a Machinist Mate First Class from 1967 to 1974. James then worked at Dresser-Rand Company as the Manager of commercial design and test from 1975 to 1985. After that, they joined GE Aviation as a Staff Engineer from 1985 to 1993. James then transitioned to GE Nuclear Energy, where they worked as a Principal Engineer from 1993 to 1999. Subsequently, they moved to GE Power & Water and served as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt NPI organization, supporting various projects and leading quality management. James then joined Alstom Power as an Engineering Manager for Other OEM Services from 2002 to 2005. From 2005 to 2011, they worked at Cortec Corporation as a Technical Sales Manager. James returned to Cortec Corporation in 2016 and held the roles of director and technical director, focusing on developing the Power and Utilities sector and promoting environmentally friendly products. Their expertise lies in project management, engineering, technical sales, and quality management.

James Holden earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology/Technician from the University of Hartford, where they studied from 1981 to 1985. James later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, completing their studies from 1993 to 1995.

In terms of additional certifications, James obtained a membership with the AMPP: Association for Materials Protection and Performance in January 2021. James also completed courses in Excel, including "Excel: Charts in Depth" and "Excel: Macros and VBA for Beginners" from LinkedIn in August 2021.
