Claus Freyinger

Claus Freyinger serves as the Global Vice President of Regulatory, Clinical, and Medical Affairs at Balt since January 2024. Prior to this role, Claus held the position of Chief Regulatory & Clinical Officer at CorTec from September 2021 to February 2024. Claus previously worked at Stryker as the Head of International Regulatory Affairs for the Neurovascular division from February 2016 to August 2021. Claus’s career also includes significant positions at Respicardia, Inc. as VP of Global Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, and EU Reimbursement, and at Sorin CRM as Director of Global Regulatory Affairs, where strategic and tactical direction for regulatory and market access strategies was provided. Additional experience includes roles at Medtronic in regulatory affairs and quality management across Latin America and the Caribbean. Claus obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French from Boston College and completed studies in International Relations at Sciences Po. Claus also attended Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management in 2004.
