MD, PhD, is a board certified diagnostic radiologist, specializing Emergency and Neuroradiology. His research is focused on developing artificial intelligence tools that can be integrated into the clinical workflow to improve the accuracy and efficiency of neuroradiology. He also has been involved in organizing the radiology artificial intelligence challenges, including the RSNA/ASNR/BraTS multimodal brain tumor segmentation challenge.
Dr. Rudie completed a combined MD PhD program in 2014. His PhD in neuroscience focused on combining genetics with functional and structural neuroimaging to better understand autism spectrum disorders. As a radiology resident his research interests became more translational, which included developing pipelines for fully automated diagnosis of brain MRIs. As a neuroradiology fellow he developed algorithms for automated segmentation and longitudinal assessment of diffuse gliomas and intracranial metastases.
