Chaitanyam Potnuru

Chaitanyam Potnuru is a Senior Imaging Data Scientist at Corteva Agriscience, where responsibilities include the development of algorithms and imaging platforms for object segmentation, detection, and counting to enhance automation and precision in phenotyping for product development since September 2016. Prior experience includes a role as Lead Engineer at GE Oil & Gas, focusing on gas turbine performance tools and algorithms utilizing machine learning from January 2013 to September 2016, following a role as Engineer in Gas Turbine Design, contributing to the NovaLT™16 gas turbine project. Earlier, Chaitanyam worked as an Engineer in the R&D Department at Vortex Engineering Pvt. Ltd. from October 2010 to September 2012, developing new components for automated teller machines. Education includes a dual degree in Mechanical Engineering (Product Design) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, completed in 2010.
