Nancy Podevin

Nancy Podevin has a diverse background in science and regulatory policy, holding multiple key positions across various prestigious organizations. After earning a Master's degree and a PhD in Biotechnology from Ghent University, Nancy Podevin served as an IWT fellow and later a post-doc researcher at K.U.Leuven, focusing on topics related to Agrobacterium-mediated transformation and banana research. During a tenure at EFSA as a Scientific Officer, Nancy Podevin gained valuable experience in scientific strategy at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory. Further roles included Science Policy Advisor at FONDS VOOR WETENSCHAPPELIJK ONDERZOEK - VLAANDEREN, and various managerial positions at DuPont Pioneer and Corteva Agriscience, overseeing registration and regulatory policies in Europe with a focus on feed additives and genome editing.
