Walter Bogdanoff

Walter Bogdanoff, Ph.D., serves as the Protein Engineering Group Leader and HTP Protein Expression and Purification Lead at Corteva Agriscience since January 2021, following a tenure as a Scientist II and I at CytomX Therapeutics from March 2018 to December 2020, focusing on protein engineering. Prior to this, Walter completed a postdoctoral fellowship at The Scripps Research Institute, where efforts centered on crystalizing viral surface glycoproteins and engineering vaccine candidates for arenaviruses. Doctoral research at the University of California, Santa Cruz, involved developing a vaccine candidate for astrovirus diarrhea, while earlier roles included positions as a lab assistant and research assistant, contributing to projects on cytokinesis and protein transport mechanisms. Walter holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Bachelor's degree in MCD Biology from the same institution.
