Jan Latko

Jan Latko has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career.

Starting in 2015, they worked as a PHP Intern at Sii Poland, where they gained experience in full-stack development with PHP and JavaScript. This was a part-time student internship.

In 2016, they interned as a .NET Intern at Merseburg University of Applied Sciences, where they focused on web development with .NET and the DevExpress framework. This was a summer internship.

Later in 2016, they joined EngineArch as a Full-Stack Ruby on Rails Developer, where they developed web and mobile applications using Ruby on Rails, Angular 2, Ionic, and React.js. Jan also wrote scripts for raspberry pi with external devices. Jan continued in this role until January 2017.

In 2017, they continued working at EngineArch as a Full-Stack Ruby on Rails Developer, where they again developed web and mobile applications using various technologies. Jan stayed in this role until March 2018.

Jan Latko then joined Samsung Electronics in 2018 as an NLP Intern, where they worked on natural language processing projects. This internship lasted from April to June 2018.

Finally, they joined Corti in November 2018 as a Machine Learning Engineer. In this role, they developed, trained, maintained, and deployed machine learning and deep learning models for audio and text. Jan worked on projects in all stages, from proof of concept to maintaining deployed solutions. Jan also monitored machine learning models in production.

Jan Latko completed their education at various institutions. Jan began by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Lodz University of Technology, which they attended from 2014 to 2018. In 2017, they also had a brief period of study at Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto. Most recently, from 2020 to 2022, Jan pursued a Master of Science degree in Mathematical Modeling and Computation at DTU - Technical University of Denmark.
