Philip Hansen

Philip Hansen has a extensive work experience in various technology-related roles. Philip is currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Corti since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Engineering Manager at Tia Technology from July 2020 to September 2021.

Before joining Tia Technology, Philip held multiple positions at Actimo from October 2015 to June 2020. Philip started as a Full Stack Engineer from September 2015 to May 2017, then moved on to become a Tech Lead from May 2017 to October 2018, and finally served as a Team Lead from October 2018 to June 2020. In their roles at Actimo, they were responsible for creating and enhancing web applications using NodeJS, MySQL, JavaScript, Angular, AngularJS, and AWS. Philip collaborated with various departments within the organization, from sales to support.

Prior to Actimo, Philip worked at Maker Studios Inc from June 2014 to April 2015 as a Lead Software Engineer. Philip also held the positions of Senior Software Engineer from October 2013 to June 2014, and Software Engineer from November 2012 to October 2013. At Maker Studios Inc, they focused on full stack development using NodeJS, MySQL, JavaScript, Redis, Jade, and CSS. Philip led multiple projects with teams ranging from 2 to 10 engineers.

Earlier in their career, Philip worked at Thales Avionics from June 2011 to November 2012, where they served as an Associate Software Engineer and a Software Engineering Intern. Philip developed passenger GUIs in Qt/QML for In-Flight Entertainment systems and also contributed to the development of a Qt C++ backend to support the GUI interactions. Prior to Thales Avionics, they worked as a Web Programming Intern at FDB Network from March 2009 to June 2009. In this role, they focused on UI development using jQuery/AJAX and was involved in implementing a custom CRM on a LAMP stack.

Overall, Philip Hansen has demonstrated strong technical skills and experience in various technology roles throughout their career, ranging from engineering and management positions.

From 2007 to 2011, Philip Hansen attended UC Irvine, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Information & Computer Science.
