Eric Anderson M.D. Mbaan

Eric Anderson MD PhD MBA FAAN has extensive work experience in the healthcare and medical field.

Eric is currently serving as the Vice President of Clinical Operations and Care Delivery at Synapticure Inc. starting from April 2022.

Prior to this, they held several positions at CortiCare, including Medical Director, Director of Telemedicine, and Tele-neurophysiologist, starting from November 2015.

Eric also founded Intensive Neuromonitoring in December 2013.

Before joining CortiCare, they worked at SOC Telemed as the Director of Scientific Affairs, Director of Epilepsy and EEG, Medical Executive Committee Member, Vice Chair of Neurology: Quality, Teleneurologist, and Chair of Neurology. Eric was associated with SOC Telemed from December 2013 to April 2022.

Eric also served as RRC neurology at ACGME from 2013 to June 2015.

Eric Anderson completed their Epilepsy Fellowship and served as Chief Resident Physician: Neurology at Emory University from July 2010 to June 2014. Eric also worked as a Resident Physician at Emory University from 2009 to 2012.

Eric completed their Internship in Internal Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine from July 2009 to June 2010.

Before joining Emory University, they worked as a Research Intern at Bascom Palmer in 2006, where they focused on the proteomic identification of lens capsule proteins in pseudoexfoliation.

Additionally, Eric Anderson served as the Chief of Neuroproteomics/Adjunct Professor at the University of Puerto Rico from May 2004 to July 2005.

Dr. Eric Anderson has an extensive education history. Eric began their academic journey at Gustavus Adolphus College from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Ecology/Philosophy. Dr. Anderson then pursued higher education at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Neuroelectrophysiology from 2000 to 2004. Continuing their medical studies, they earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the same institution from 2005 to 2009.

Dr. Anderson further specialized in Internal Medicine by completing a residency program at Emory University School of Medicine from 2009 to 2010. This was followed by a Neurology Residency Program, also at Emory University School of Medicine, from 2010 to 2013.

In 2013, Dr. Anderson pursued clinical neurophysiology with a focus on epilepsy at Emory University School of Medicine, completing this program in 2014.

To complement their medical and research expertise, Dr. Anderson undertook a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Eric is anticipated to complete this degree in 2022.

With their diverse educational background encompassing medicine, neuroelectrophysiology, and business administration, Dr. Eric Anderson is well-equipped to excel in their field as an MD PhD MBA FAAN.
