Jim Cortina

Media Designer, Founding Member at Cortina Productions

Jim works in all facets of project development, from directing business development and strategic partnerships to media design and production. As director of development, he works with the business team to deliver creative treatments, budget estimates, and scheduling proposals. Jim keeps a keen eye on the unique requirements of all potential clients and hand selects principal lead and project team members best suited for delivering on the client’s mission. His extensive contacts in museum design and production services allows Cortina Productions to build cross-discipline solutions for delivering on a variety of clients’ needs.

In addition to his business development role, Jim is also actively engaged in media design, concept development, and graphic design where he works directly with exhibition designers and client teams to develop media strategies. Recently, Jim has worked with clients such as the Bible Museum of Ghana, Vue Orleans, and the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service to bring their exhibits to life.

Jim graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science, Economics.
