Kieran Kenny

Kieran Kenny has over 40 years of extensive experience in policing, security, and event management. Currently serving as a Member of the Irish Parole Board since August 2021 and Chairperson of the CORU Review Team, Kieran previously held prominent roles including Assistant Commissioner at An Garda Síochána where operational and administrative responsibilities extended across the Northern Region and Chief Superintendent for the Sligo/Leitrim Division. Kieran has led initiatives in major event and security planning, risk assessment, and emergency management while also chairing the Board of Directors for Victim Support at Court until August 2023. An educational background includes a Master of Science in Police Leadership from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and various diplomas and certifications from prestigious institutions, including Harvard University and the Carabinieri Police Academy in Rome.
